    Returning expat engineer charged with 2017 manslaughter

    An engineer left HK after fatal accident March 2017 when a temporary working platform beneath the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge collapsed, leading to the deaths of two men, aged 22 and 40, and injuring three others.

    6 years later he/she returned to HK, police charged him/her with manslaughter

    Don't forget that the construction project led to more than 10 fatalities (excluding dolphins) known to the Hong Kong side.

    Were others charged or just him? What about the PM, PD, or the safety officer...? If he is the only one to blame for a project of size is unbelievable. I guess the same play book for the ferry sinking several years earlier.

    That's the same amount of vehicles that use the bridge daily.
