    Question Filipinos with RO status

Any Filipino passport holder or citizen here with HKID and RO status?
I was told OEC is not needed when I go back to the Philippines for visit and come back to HK to work.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

That is correct. If you have the HK permanent ID, you won't need to present an OEC at PH check-in or immigration counters when returning to HK for work.

Even if mine is only saying "Identity Card" instead of "Permanent Identity Card" ?

If I'm not mistaken, RO means you have Right to Land.
With RTL you can freely enter HK to live and work without any restrictions or conditions of stay. So for employment purposes I guess it's the same as having ROA or the permanent ID.

Yes you have the right to work, but as recent threads here have shown, even some HK companies' HR depeartments don't know what the R symbol means, so I'd say there's a good chance that Philippines Immigration won't either. I guess have copies of the HK ImmD website pages on Right to Land might help.
