I saw e-laisee options in hang seng and HSBC banking apps, so doest majority of banks. Payme, alipay and wechat pay also has e-laisee options.

That's just a local FPS transfer with a message.

If you want to receive money from abroad you give them your bank info with SWIFT/BIC code, account number, name, address and hope they don't have a shitty account that charges them 20USD/EUR/GBP for the transfer.

(I love that all my HK accounts do free intl SWIFT transfers! One thing HK is really ahead of others)

It's a local transfer (not always FPS), BUT with cute red graphics, animations, well wishes!!!

You can also do the random amount/get it first group laisees that are super popular in groupchats these days.

But yeah, to the OP I assume your relative still have access to the HK bank/wallets apps, otherwise you're out of luck I'm afraid.
