If you have a foreign passport you should use that. Of course you won't be able to use WeChat China for anything serious if you don't first open a Chinese bank account.

I understand that HSBC PayMe can now be configured with a virtual UnionPay card and then used to make Weixin QR code payments in China. Would that do what you need?
