We are two aussies living and working in the UK and we have recently acquired a new dog who has now become an integral part of our little family. My partner recently accepted a post in Hong Kong we are very excited howver they want us there mid feb. We wont leave our mutt behind just wondering if anyone has moved dogs out to hong kong from the Uk and if they have any recommendations on pet transport companies etc etc. I look forward to hearing from you guys,
    kind regards

    Hi there,

Our family just moved from UK to HK in early dec with our whole gang of furries (2 dogs and 3 cats).

We used a company call Pet Air (they are run by 2 vets), they were the only company who gave us quotes that mentioned using Feliway and Dap for the animals. These are pherhormones that help calm and ease the animals' anxiety. All these means they care than the other companies. The chap who came to pick up my gang was so nice. Patiently loaded each of them into their pre-made crates, spray lots of DAP/Feliway, lined each with vetbed and filling the containers with water. He even insisted that he will text me the next day when he dropped them off at Heathrow for checkin to tell me know they are all fine.

I was in a mess leaving them with somebody but the whole process, the company was great with the animals and I. I defintely recommend them. Plus their quote was very reasonable.

They have different packages, so we opted for the gold package that did everything for us, from picking them in UK to clearing customs/licencing stuff and delivery to us here in HK.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to pm me.

    Cheers

Or perhaps simply that they get commission on the drugs.

I thought pherhormones made you feel randy not relaxed. The dogs will be humping all the way to Hong Kong.

    Haha...
Yes but there's different kind of pheromone

The type used is the same released by doggie/kitty mummies to soothe their puppies/kittens. It is suppose to make them feel a sense of well being and comfort...

Hope that explains it Can't get the picture of humping dogs/ cats.....in their crates.....haha

Also for the commission, not really. Coz I didn't pay extra for them, they were a few hundred quid cheaper than some other companies . But I am sure they get good rids, coz they really do spray alot of them.

I have multi-cat and multi-dog household and had looked after dogs with really bad experience when it comes to Bonfire night. The product is good and recommended by vets.

PDLM, a response without mentioning visas not being available for partners? You're slipping!

I'll have to remember that the next time I fall asleep without meeting my conjugal duties - sorry love, wrong sort of pherhormones.
