I make less than what you spend on rent and manage by the grace of God. If you move to the northern NT you could more than halve your rent and save even more.

I wouldn't be concerned about being able to save Bogs because you are spending only less than a fifth of your wages on accomodation. HK is one of them places that is as cheap or pricy as u wanna make it. I earn a 3rd of what you do - my rent only 5000 admittedly but I still eat out, go out, spend and manage to save.
It really depends on how lavish u want to live!
Bogs, I am a psychologist and encourage people to look inside themselves for answers instead of external references. One way to do this is to tell people what they don't want/expect to hear. Usually the truth will come to the surface.
So now you have the answer don't worry be happy!Originally Posted by Bogs:

Bogs... I think we should all meet so you can treat us drinks and we can share our feelings with you.

65K a month?! What do you do?!
Bogs, let me do a rough calculation for you. 65000 - 15000 (rent) = 50000. If you want to save 20K/month, then you still have 1000/day to use. One day 24 hours, you have to spend $41/hour.
Let's have a game, after 24 hours (each dayend), if you can't use up the money, share it to us.
I cant c any difficult for a single to live in HK with monthly 65K, instand of you live like Lee Ka Shing
