Advice wanted re possible move to HK from UK

    Thanks Claire ex-ax for the link to the department of transport appendix. It looks like he might not be able to drive in Hong kong but still not sure. He can drive in the UK once he is free of fits for a year. He has not had a fit for nearly 4 years now so has had his licence back for nearly 3 yearsHK web site also states that as a holder of a UK licence he can apply for a HK licence by direct issue. So we are still a bit confused.

    I suppose it is something we will have to try and find out more about if I get the job. Had a good telephone interview with one of the 2 other westeners who work for the company. I think it went well should have some feedback early next week so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

    Thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. Unfortunately the company think I am too experienced and over qualified for the job so it looks as if we won't be coming to HK after all. a real pity as we were all starting to get exited about the prospect of living in HK.
