    chances?

    Hi!

Just got a job in HK (Investment Bank) and they started the immigration process (working visa). They told me that currently the immigration is tougher than it used to be and I will have to wait 6 weeks to get it done.

    Knowing that I have:
*4/5 years working experience in Europe and Asia (big scale ERP implementation)
*SAP Finance knowledge (the job is for ERP implementation)
*No cantonese knowledge but working experience in Asia

What are my chances to get the visa?

    Thanks !

Make sure they stress that you were hired because of your international and very specialist experience which is impossible to find in Hong Kong.

I don't know of anyone with an university education from a 1st world country hired by a non HK firm that has been rejected. I just got my 2 months ago, and it took a little under 4 weeks. I am also assuming that you don't have a criminal record.

Is your company looking for anymore experienced functional SAP FI/CO consultants?
