    Where should I move now?

    Hi guys!

Could use a little advice here...

Lease is up at the end of this month, and I am SOOO ready to move.

My agent plans to show me some places around Clearwater Bay / Sai Kung.
I've never been out there...so I have a few questions if anyone can help.

Is this area a good place to live, or will I feel like I'm millions of miles from civilization?

What's the average commute time by taxi/mtr from that area to places like Central HKG or TST Kowloon? (husband works in Kwai Fong)

Without a car, is transport by taxi or bus shuttle fast & readily available?

How's the shopping, restaurants, activities etc. in that area?

Love feedback from anybody living there now, or did live there.

    thks!

Sai Kung is turning into a mess. Depending on where you are, way too many "party people" are moving into some of the places with lots of Karaoke and Mahjong on weekends.

From what I hear, traffic can be bit of a mess, specially on weekends. Make sure you try the rush hour commute.

I think you better find place near the TST, Jordan
at least, there are subway to work, and there is highway that travel from west harbour tunnel to airport (which have exist to Kwai Fong area midway)

yes, sai kung is hectic weekends, takes forever to get in and out. i wouldn't move there without having access to an automobile, despite the food scene being quite nice.
