70k HKD / month enough ?

Hi,

I have offered a position in IT business in HK with the package including monthly salary of 70k + 20k housing. I have 15 years experience on this area of work. Is this in line with current expat salaries in HK ?

Which specific area of work? IT is a very broad field....

If you are relocating overseas I would suggest it makes sense to see if your potential employer is making a reasonable offer.

without knowing anymore about you, it's very difficult to say whether it will be enough.

if you have a wife, 4 kids(in school), 5 dogs... it may not be. if, however, you are single (or married with 2 kids) it should be no problem.
