Designer Furniture in shenzhen

Hi everybody!!

Im looking into buying a small sofa.. a coffee table
and a couple of lamps and accesories.. I know of places
that sell designer furniture for peanuts in shenzhen but
dont have a car and dont know whats the deal of crossing
them into hong kong.. can anybody fill me in.. has anybody done this? I mean i saw a Le Corusier Chaise Lounge for something like 100 USDlls

two points: this chair is a replica, so it might fall apart a bit quicker than normal. always check the quality in detail (can be a good buy though)

secondly, shops usually arrange transportation to hk (for a fee). just ask them for logitics.

i have seen ( at my friends place) these replica as well as dealt with original designer furniture via my company, some of the items are extremely hard to tell the difference, eg (won't name the brand, in case i'll get sued) eg, designer complete glass desk with round edges, both fake and original uses tempered glass, original has slightly better quality glass, but considering it cost more than 15 times of the fake, you expect more.

or a designer suspenion light consisting of multiple (from 17 to 30 odd) light bulbs in dodohendron sliver base suspending from ceiling, just 5 original make light bulbs ( not standard size to mass produced ones) will cost more than fake suspension lamp.

quality is better, but at 23 times the price of the fake, it should be.

fully agree. all my furniture is replica from china and i am happy with it (value vs money). in my experience usually replica stuff starts to corrode, fall apart, etc after 3 years vs 5-8 years or so for original stuff.

however i always check the quality and fixtures in detail because we also once had a dining table falling apart after 1 month
