hubby and i make a point of trying 'chinese food' everywhere we travel... egyptian chinese food was .....ummmm.... interesting... NOT chinese, but interesting.
...Rachel...Chester is probably the most beautiful city in England...HK is a fast-paced, dynamic city...it is (by "city" standards) small...many high rise office & appt blocks...but there are also MANY beautiful places too...i am sure you and your man will embrace the vibrancy and diversity of HK...and lots of new friends waiting for you both too...

Not really, I am just telling it like it is. Some people rave so much about the place on this forum, and many people have the same opinion as me.
And that's what it is, an opinion.
In case you didn't notice there were pros in my post. I was simply pointing out the cons also.
I come from a first world country so pretending along with you all this hole in the ground is fabulous when it simply isn't, I cannot do that...

I am pretty sure you won't like HK at beginning, and no evidence shows people are gonna love it very much even after beginning...at least me.
