    Worried

My wife (Filipina) is pregnant and now I am really worried that she will murder my child using gecko urine in some fiendish cult ritual.

I love geckos and I wish we had one in our flat, anyone got any to spare? Mind you my mother-in-law is petrified of them and still managed to have 6 kids.

Back to the original question - as others have said, give her her own firdge or cupboard. And why not let her eat with you?

And what is wrong with paying maids for their holidays, most people get paid holidays.

The overall message coming out here is that the expat lifestyle with help on hand is far more stressful and fraut with danger than it would initially appear!

Those of us not so priviledged should thank our lucky stars we don't have to deal with these issues every waking minute.

As HKNewBi implies, the way to get rid of all those FDH stresses is to do without one.

For a reality check - ask your FDH about her life and that of her family and then see if you would swap.

Thank you .. and on that note, lets move on.

By the way, the Gecko Lounge in NOHO (or whatever that dump of an area is) serves up some potent poisons.
