You can't have your cake and eat it, too... as they say.

(I just don't get that idiom. I understand what it means figuratively -- duh! -- but why it means what it means is beyond me. Anyone who knows how it originated?)

    Another website (Roland VDrums)http://www.rolandus.com/products/pro...px?ParentId=60

My friend has the VDrums and lives in an apartment with room mates. No complaints & the drums sound great.

This is easy to find, provided you are not as cheap as you are lazy.

KnowItAll: Ah, I get it :P

Spork: those vdrums look awesome. Anyone happen to know of a music store in Hong Kong where I could go try those out?

JBest: There are things I'd rather work for than pay for, things I'd rather pay for than work for, and things that just aren't worth it.

Donabel_beltran: I think the original saying was reversed: "eat your cake and have it too". This makes more sense, I think.

But, I still maintain that Drums and a Good Sex Life are not by nature incompatible!

OK - so which category does sex fit into then?
