I think I may have found it!
CitySuper is having a Canadian promotion at the moment and they have smoked salmon in the can. I picked one up last night, but haven't tried it yet. According to their flyer at the store, there should be a few different brands, including a smoked salmon pate. I was in a bit of a rush, so just grabbed the first one I saw. Will let you know how it is.
I also managed to grab a box of maple cream sandwich cookies, yum!
The promotion is on for the rest of Oct.

oh yeah, they're sweet, but really good!
the smoked salmon was great! i just got the one tin to be sure. made some great dip/spread with it... can give you the recipe if you like. i'll be heading back to citysuper in the next couple of days to stock up!

yes, all citysupers, but they were all finishing their promotions on different dates near the end of the month. i'll be going tomorrow, so i'll get a leaflet on it and let you know the dates.
didn't see the indian candy. i've never tried that before, but it looks good.

was at TS citysuper yesterday, and they only had the one brand of smoked salmon (the one i tried before) despite having pics of lots of different kinds in the leaflet. might be worth checking out another one to see if they have more variety.
promo ends Oct 27 at IFC, Nov. 1 at Harbour City and New Town Plaza, and on Nov. 2 at Times Square.
