Have you tried the "Royal Milk Tea" available in Japanese style markets (also has powder mix)... see this link Request Royal Milk Tea - Japani . Else for HK style milk tea this Wikipedia link is very accurate Hong Kong-style milk tea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've tried it but wasn't aware there was a powder mix. I'll have to take a look in Sogo next time in in CWB.

I actually like the Kirin brand tea, but the price has gone up a fair bit in the last few years. It used to be about $12 a bottle, now it's around $18 depending on where from.

i buy this tea at wellcome & park n shop. a ceylon from sri lanka.

"Dai Pai Dong" Ceylon Tea is wonderful for making traditional full bodied milk tea and provides the aromatic flavours of traditional Dai Pai Dong's.

Of course add an additional tea mix as you like .

I just had a really good milk tea in Fairwood and now i'm wondering if it's the tea i like or the iced milk!

Almost packed and have picked up some tea. I'll test it when I get back to London and if I can make a tasty brew, I'll send for some more.

Can't find the black & white milk anywhere, so this one will have to do for now!
