I think Circle and Hunter are cool names, for female and male respectively, and so is Pong. Pong Rocks!

I don't think people will be fighting each other to be the first to name themselves after a GeoExpat nickname.

I had never met a Kelvin until I came to Hong Kong. Even funnier when you find out its spelling is K e v i n.

    Red face

If I've a daughter, I'll call her Sunshine...not sure if she'll have people like us laughing at her name!

Apparently "Porn" is a very common name in Thailand (one of those Thai nicknames I think). I'm making no further comment.

I also know a "Fanny Ho". (think of "Fanny" in the Australia context and "Ho" in the US context)

For some reason bizarre reason I never got around to asking, my Dad always said that if he had had a girl he wanted to name her "Andromeda". What the????

I also enjoy cross-over names like "Wency". You just know that the person could not decide between Wendy and Nancy.

Also saw one of those ads for a turtoring school and one of the male teachers name was "Frendsy".

But my alltime favourite will be the name of 150 cm tall Chinese middle-aged businessman: "Titan Fung".
