Need access to a shower in Central (near Prince's Building/Chater square)

Hey all
I work in the Prince's Building, where there are no showers. I'd love to run at lunchtimes along the harbour/(building site!), but need access to showers close by to work. Does anyone know ANYWHERE, apart from an overpriced gym, that I could access showers for this purpose? I'm not sure if there's any neighbouring buildings which somehow might have facilities I could pay someone to access, etc.

The nearest I can think of immediately is the Public Bathhouse (yes they still exist) in Gutzlaff Street (just off Wellington St) but that's half a mile away.

Have you tried checking inside Princes Building itself? I know our offices have showers (lippo) but they are locked and you need a key for access - often it's just a matter of finding the right person with a key to these things not that they don't exist! Or you could try the Mandarin Oriental - I bet they have showers in a gym or something - all you'd need to do it look like a tourist and they won't bat an eyelid!

Just change you run location to Bowen Road (no construction) and a well defined 8KM.

Is that the squash centre? If not, the squash centre on garden road also has showers (your post reminded me of it). Pretty much all the sports centres in HK have free showers - I use the ones in Sai Kung after hiking for example.

Thanks guys. All good ssuggestions, I was just hoping for somewhere closer (I know, I know ... you can't have everything). The Cotton Tree Drive place would be good, except that I 'aint gonna walk up in my suit at this time of year (What can I say - I sweat, particularly after a run - even after the shower!), and don't fancy my chances trying to beat the crowds to the taxi rank at 1pm (I've got a fairly rigid lunchtime). Oh well - if anyone else has suggestions would love to hear them.
