    Soundproofing

Does anyone have any suggestions for soundproofing my outer door to muffle all the hallway noise that passes thru as if it wasn't even there so that I can actually get some sleep and stop being sucha cranky whiner?

Me too. I'm looking to sound proof my door so that I don't get woken up by the b*****d door slamming f****rs next door.

I'm thinking of those draft excluder strips and maybe putting them all around the door. The thought of an internal curtain is not an option for me.

can you get pink fiber glass insulation in HK, or is this climate not cold enough here to be available?

I put those strips around three edges of my front door. They are the ones that come in a roll and you peel off the backing. Are made by 3M and Scotch, come in white and brown and is very easy to fit.

Made a massive difference - stopped almost all of the noise.

i'm not sure that will work as the sound travels right thru the material in my door altogether.
