Where to get that magnet (security thingy) removed from my skirt?

I bought a new skirt from India, dint realise the shop owner forgot to take out that magnet thing removed, not sure if its called sensor or something, but it triggers the alarm.
Now the question is, where to get it removed. I love my skirt way too much and cant wait to wear it.

    Thanks.

aren't those things designed to be impossible to remove without the contraption?

may be there's someone here that works in a shop that can help out?

I once walked out of the Gigasport at Pacific Place, having purchasing a gym bag that was still in its original transparent plastic bag after being taken out of storage, and tripped the alarm as I left. I exchanged confused looks with the store employees and was on my way after shrugging it off.

When I arrived home, I noticed that the tag was still on, which is obviously what tripped the alarm. So I went back to the shop with the receipt, which I didn't need to show them in order to have the tag removed, which they did - no questions asked.

you can go to one of those maple shops and ask the cashier nicely if they can remove the thing for you as a favour. same thing happened to my gf and she went to a maple shop to have it removed. it's not a biggy

Oh, thats the funny thing, it dint trigger the alarm at the shop. I noticed it only yesterday when I felt something is not right with the skirt.

Thanks, I'll take it to Maple then.

Is there no way I can remove it at home though?

You can always make a fashion statement by wearing it with the security device still attached..
