    Divorce in the PRC?

    Hi all

    I am a UK citizen and have been married to a Chinese national for the last 9 years (With one 7yo son), however after 2 or so unhappy years and fidelity problems I'm afraid there is no option but divorce...

    Would just like to know if anyone here has gone through this process and has any tips regarding splitting of assets, child custody etc.

    Are the services of a lawyer worthwhile/necessary?

    I appreciate any advice you can give to help me through this tough but necessary option...
