Friends here during Christmas, what all things can we do?

Two of my girlfriends are coming to Hong Kong for a week during Christmas for a week. They will do regular touristy stuff like Big Budhdha, Peak,Ladies Market etc on their own when I am at work. Apart from that we will have 6 days together.
What all things can we do together when they are here...one day I was thinking of taking them to Macau, one day to Cheung Chau Island, what else. They are interested in doing something interesting on new years eve, any suggestions? not very pricey thing though. LKF and Soho I will take them on 25th itself. Ideas, suggestions appreciated.

What about Mong Kok, always good to have a look around the shops at night on the weekends.

Also have dinner in Temple Street, Yau Ma Tei (Jordon) on the street corners. Especially if you like chilli crab etc. Might be a bit cooler then but worth the atmosphere.

Thanks, but that can be done on weeknights too, right?
Street corners sounds good, they haven't tried chili crab so that sounds like a plan.
