What places do you rec for a nice mani/pedi? I have either heard of the really cheap and not so hygenic places or the very expensive hotel ones. Is there something in the middle? I am starting to miss my NYC nail salons at every corner.

Actually, there seems to be nail places popping up everywhere. If you're in Central, there's one on the esclator on Cochrane St. I've seen signs for ManiPedi there too. There's also a nail place in Windsor Hse 1/F.
