    transportation on bonham road (SYP)

might be new to this area soon...was wondering what its like for transportation on bonham road (close to the Welcome or Circle-O cafe)?

i would need to get from there to tsuen wan as easily/fast as possible. i know in a few years the escalator and MTR will be opened right there, but need to know current transit situation.

also, how long do you think commute would be to tsuen wan?

seems like its going to be a long walk to the nearest bus and then a few different buses to get to where i need to go

You're going to buy in Mid-Levels at these prices? Very ballsy call, with the recent price appreciation you have a high risk of a sizeable capital loss over the next few years. Good luck!

u can take 3B, 12M, 23, 40, 40M or any of the Green mini buses to central or Admiralty. Buses are plentiful.

    F.A.O. BenderBends:

The number 10 minibus which goes from the Cyberport bus terminus to Causeway Bay passes through Bonham Road. If I am not mistaken, it stops at the David Trench Rehabilitation Centre (across the road from the Café O). You can alight at Queensway in Admiralty, right beside the MTR exit C1. At the same stop you have the choice of taking the NWFB/Citybus routes 40M and 103 (more expensive as it is a cross-harbour service).

If you prefer to catch a bus from Park Road (may be quicker as, you can avoid the Caine Road traffic) your choices would be the 23 and 40, both of which will also take you to Admiralty Station.

However, if you walk down to Good View Court (51 - 53 Bonham Road), about 150m west along Bonham, there is a bus stop where all of the above stop.

I am trying to think of a service that passes through Bonham Road and will take you down to Hong Kong Station as taking the Tung Chung Line from Hong Kong Station to Lai King and then switching to the red line to go to Tseun Wan will be much quicker.

You could also go the other way go down to high st and pokfulam rd junction and take one of the bus 970/973 that cross the western tunnel to element then you should have a bus to Tsuen wan.

Or get down to Macau Ferry Terminal and catch one of the super-express (ahem) red minibuses direct to Tsuen Wan.
