    Abusing the frequency spectrum

Hilarious stuff from Chan Kam-lam , a 'pro goverment' legislator. He and other p.g.ls.must have stayed up late into the night with their Rogets to come up with this and other bon mots.

Commercial Radio considers live coverage of protest
Commercial Radio attacked by critics for even suggesting such a broadcast

Programme adviser Leung Man-tao said yesterday the station was considering the broadcast. He would give no further details, saying they would be announced on today's session of the talk show Teacup in a Storm, which he co-hosts.

Even before details were announced, critics were weighing in.

Pro-government legislator Chan Kam-lam described the move as "a publicity gimmick" and "totally irresponsible and an abuse of the frequency spectrum". "They want the people to join the march. This is their real motive," said Mr Chan, of the Democratic Alliance for Betterment of Hong Kong

    sorry about that

the cleaned up version of previous post.

Commercial Radio may broadcast live coverage of the July 1 protest march - potentially putting the radio station at the centre of yet another political controversy.
Programme adviser Leung Man-tao said yesterday the station was considering the broadcast. He would give no further details, saying they would be announced on today's session of the talk show Teacup in a Storm, which he co-hosts.

He said the station would not be encouraging people to join the march, and what individual hosts said about the march was "their own matter".
Even before details were announced, critics were weighing in.
Pro-government legislator Chan Kam-lam described the move as "a publicity gimmick" and "totally irresponsible and an abuse of the frequency spectrum".
"They want the people to join the march. This is their real motive," said Mr Chan, of the Democratic Alliance for Betterment of Hong Kong.
The move comes with the station still firmly in the political spotlight after the resignations in swift succession of outspoken hosts Wong Yuk-man, Albert Cheng King-hon and Allen Lee Peng-fei.
Its licence was renewed last year until 2016, despite rumours that Executive Councillor Leung Chun-ying wanted to give it just three years.
