    American College Football

I MUST, and the capitalization does not acheive the hyperbolic effect I wish to convey, I MUST watch College Football Bowl games this year. The problem is that I have no cable television service at the moment, and as you surely know, I cannot watch anything from the states over the internet. Can someone PLEASE tell me where, how, who, what, etc. about watching a game or two. I would love to watch the University of Oklahoma Sooners or the BCS Championship game between OSU and UF. PLEASE! Dear God, PLEASE! I am begging.

Skitz Bar in Wan Chai is pretty good with most American sports. They show games live in the morning as well as some repeats as well.

You can shoot them an email and ask if they are televising specific games. Good guys, if most people are watching something else they'll turn another tv tuned to your game on (Big place).

I assume you know how to download and play bittorrents?

http://www.sportbit.org/ is a great site for sports related torrents. You have to register but I saw a couple of CFL games which have been capped (uploaded).

Alternatively, www.btjunkie.com is a bittorrent search site where u can search for CFL in general. I'm sure you'll find some.

If you are new to bittorrent and video media, I'd recommend downloading "Bitcomet version 0.70" and "VLC 8.6". Google that.

Otherwise, what my dad does (and what many relatives now do) is is set up a Slingbox (www.slingbox.com) in US/Canada and watch in HK.

It works great usually. Although the Taiwan earthquake has messed up the internet speeds in HK for the last 2 weeks...

    Hope this helps.
