Correct me if I'm wrong but I think what hullexile is trying to say is that he picked up a girl in a bar called Helen, may have given her a sexually transmitted disease and then found out that she was his cousin. Understandably he wants to get in touch to sort out the mess.

A little more compassion is needed Mr. Dreadnought, less of the sarcasm please.

    Q. Why are there so many one-armed men in Hull?
    A. It's from chewing off their arm to not wake the Hull girl who came home with them.

    hullexile wants his arm back.

Then they find out it was the wrong arm...but the girl is normally a close relative anyway.

No honestly me mum says the daughter of a cousin of mine (is that a second cousin?) has just moved out here.

Assuming you read "...the daughter is a cousin of mine..."
