    BANK ACCOUNT.

For banks in Hong Kong such as Hang Seng Bank and HSBC etc.
How old would you need to be to create a bank account? (Not credit card)
How much initial savings would you need to create a bank account?

I assume 18 year minimum. I opened one up today with my passport and a letter from my employer confirming my HK address.

HSBC has a "Childrens Savings Account". From their website:

"Children Savings Account" is applicable to customers below the age of 18. The initial deposit amount is HK$300 and there is no minimum balance requirement nor monthly service fee. However, a HK$20 counter transaction fee will be applied for every transfer/cash withdrawal made over the counter.
But obviously you're going to need your parent's signatures to open it.

It really depends what type of account and what controll over the money will minor have. I think you are better off going to the branch and finding out.
