Shooting / Gun clubs in Hong Kong

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if any gun clubs or shooting ranges in Hong Kong, preferably near Kam Tin/Yuen Long. I don't own any kind of license so, from reading around, I understand I will have to take some sort of lessons.

If anyone knows of anywhere, do you know if it is possibly to become a member and shoot at the club without actually buying a pistol/rifle, but renting one from the club instead and buy the rounds you use.

They probably prefer it if you shoot at the targets

You need a membership introduction to join one of the clubs.
Might be difficult if you don't have any shooting experience.
besides,membership is not cheap.

Hi, thanks for the replies. I don't mean to sound ungrateful. (a post that starts like that can never end well! Here goes ) but I have done some research as I said, so yes the first thing I did was google it. And thanks for the info about it being expensive. Though i was sort of hoping for an answer from someone who, is Maybe a member of such a club...

I usually do my shooting in the Philippines. The membership here is extremely expensive, although they have better rental handguns available here and you can apply for a permit to store a handgun at the clubs here.

I went to the CGC to inquire a few months back, nice range and good selection of guns but the prices are high, see the first link I posted -> click on savings/benefits in red color. The so-called 'entrance fee' is payable each year (except life-time membership).

A membership is always required, you have to undergo a training course (test at the end that you need to pass if I remember correctly) and you do need approval of the police (must have no criminal record), no way around it.

Sure beats having a bunch of yahoos going to get their testerone fix like in Thailand or the Phil....

Live guns shooting in HK sucks. Expensive membership and formalities and only limited range of weapons. It's much better in in South-east Asia or Guam where you just walk in and rent the guns and buy the ammunition. They have sidearms, 12 gauge shotties, SMGs and full-auto rifles.
