Who to contact about no hot water?

Who to contact about no hot water?

I have hot water from the shower and toilet tap as they both run off the water heater.

The kitchen tap runs off something else though and I think it's about time I fix it.

Who do I contact to get someone over to assess and repair it?

Do you know that there IS hot water to your kitchen tap? Many places here do not use hot water in the kitchen.

I own the place, so I'm the landlord as such.

There is a big box that's burnt out underneath the kitchen sink.

    Right!
Then the answer is you need a plumber and/or an electrician. Easy.

hard part is finding one that speaks english! Perhaps start a new thread with that title, or search for the ones that are already there.....

How old is your building and are you in a large estate? I own my flat too and when I have a problem I go to the concierge downstairs who have a list of companies that repair everything. The concierge usually calls them for me and arranges the appointment, etc.

Like SG says. If it is Town Gas they will want to check it if safety reasons.
That seems to be a good start and the right one as their staff know what to look for and I suspect there are just a few problems with something like that as it is seems simple technology and they no doubt have seen it all. My heater problem turned out to be a dead 1.5 Volt battery but the rust made the TG guy call my landlord and they replaced it with a nice new one!
