Central to Pokfulam (Victoria Road / Consort Rise / Bisney Road area) on Public Transport

Driven this many times, but need to use get someone there on public transport. What would be the best way from Central (Queen's Road) to the Pokfulam area of Victoria Road / Consort Rose / Bisney Road?

I can see on the GMB site bus no.23 from Kennedy Town, doesn't say where it stops though in PFL. Also see the No.10 from Causeway Bay which seems a bit far to go. Assuming plenty of people here living in PFL and working in Central area, any suggestions?

I love the Transport Department - looking at the GMB site there they have Transport Department - Hong Kong Island GMB Routes

Which does include routes not running anymore and misses some that do! I checked the site you linked to but now have to use several maps as it assumes we know exactly what number of building to stop at! Takes so long which is why I asked the question! Ease of use it is not.

The M47 chugs all the way along Victoria Road, from Central to Wah Fu.

So email TD and tell them! I've found that things get fixed very quickly when you do that.

And on PTES - you seem to have missed the box which allows you to select the maximum distance of the bus stops from the location. You should enter where you actually want to go and the the maximum distance you're prepared to walk to a bus stop. Don't try guessing where the bus stop is.

    No that's not a problem.

The area required in Pokfulam is not listed so need to look where everything else is, however for example you place in "Central" and choose QRC to start and then Pokfulam Court to finish, which theoretically will take you along the Pokfulam Road. You can assume there will be a bus stop somewhere nearby - but then it only gives you routes as far as Pokfulam Playground.

Not a problem. Thanks Claire - that one is perfect.

I'm confused. Pokfulam Playground is within 150m of Pokfulam Court. Why is that not a valid answer? And the M47 doesn't go anywhere near Pokfulam Court!

Well the map I'm looking at shows Pokfulam Court as being right near to the Pokfulam reservoir, search Google Maps for that which from what you are saying is probably incorrect. Hence my confusion.

And I don't want to find Pokfulam Court just something that goes near Victoria Road / Consort Rise / Bisney Road, which the M47 does. These are not options listed on the public transport website.

This is near Scenic Villas on Victoria Road, minibuses No.10 for sure and I think 11

Google Maps is full of all sorts of rubbish - certainly not something to be relied on.

PTES is not good at "something that goes near some collection of roads" I agree. But presumably you are actually trying to get from a specific building (your home?) to Central. Just put the name of that specific building into PTES and set the distance to 50m/200m/400m as you wish.

If, for example, I put Bisney Terrace in as my origin, and Exchange Square as my destination then the M47 and GMB8 are the two options which come up.
