    Disposal of Confidential documents

Anyone got an idea of where i might be able to safely dispose of a box load of confidential documents without finding them on the front of the SCMP and my identity stolen.

    Kind regards

    Jonathan

Don't know where, but a shredder and a small bottle of hydrochloric acid should help.

    Give me the stuff.

I will dispose it for you.

I promise I won't look at the information first and blackmail you with it.

If you have a truck load of confidential papers, it will take you days to shred them 6 to10 pieces at a time. Many shredders will get over heated after an hour or so.

I have a shedder at home for small jobs. For big load of papers, I went out to buy a metal garbage can and dump all the papers in, pour a very small amount of gasoline into the can and light the fire. A lot of local Chinese burn hell money, paper houses, paper servants, paper cars etc. for their ancestors, so why not burn your confidential papers in a similar manner. Just make sure you are at a safe place to do so and to keep the lid semi-closed to prevent the ashes from flying out. Do what the locals do, burn it out on the street or the corridor of your apt. building.
