    Small white skinny insects?!

    Hi,

I just moved into my apartment last week and while cleaning have come across little bugs I have never seen before. They are small, white and thin. I'm not afraid of a few bugs but since I'm not familiar with them I just want to make sure they are not the types that will cause trouble (bites, eat through clothes, etc.) I have been spraying the places I have found them but do I need to have the landlord come in and fumigate? I have quite a few bug bites but I have been assuming they are from Mosquitos.

Thanks for any info you could provide!

Any chance you can take a photo next time?

You can fumigate the place yourself, Available from most supermarkets.

Which room are they mainly located in?

I've mainly noticed them in the living room. Once on a wall and once on a rag (that had been left on the ground by landlord). Could be right about mosquito larva. Do they not need water to survive? Because these are crawly little things.

Take a picture, else it's all guess work.

Mosquito larvae are laid in water, they don't crawl but wiggle. They look like this:

Eeeek, no not that. I will fight my urge to immediately squash all inside bugs and take a picture next time I see one. Thanks!

    One of these?

That would be a silverfish - quite common here.
