Also, you should be prosecuted for having a polar bear in Hong Kong. You are forcing it to work as a banker, no doubt. How cruel!
Actually I've been working in it's tutorial centre. My days are numbered though, he's just off to the UK to marry a rabbit to help it get it's visa. Met the rabbit on Geo, so he tells me..

Rabbits and polar bears mating? There oughta be a law against that.

For football, you are totally right and I'm guilty as charged, I never really cared for the Canadian football team anyway. I much prefer watching the English Premier league, in fact I am going to watch the Barclay Asia Trophy matches at the Hong Kong Stadium tomorrow night. The first match is kitchee (local cannonfodder) vs Chelsea, the second match I think is Aston Vs Blackburn. You coming?

However, if you are referring to hockey, skating like ballerina? I am assuming you have never seen a NHL game? Haha, you think skating on ice while trying to handle the puck is easy? It involves lots of skill to puck-handle properly. At least hockey players don't resort to pretending to fake injuries to draw penalities from referees, hockey players take hits like a man. You got body checked? You get back up on the ice. You don't act like a sissy. And we are still at the top of the game globally speaking, we did win the olympic hockey gold medal just last year, when was the last time England has won a football World Cup?

I wish Watercooler! My favourite team is Aston Villa. Unfortunately I have a little matter to attend to in the UK this weekend (stag do).

I was being flippant with my comment about ice hockey to be honest! It is an amazing sport to watch (especially the fights). I was speaking to a Canadian friend of mine who told me all about the gentlemanliness and etiquette in a hockey fight. When two footy players fight, everyone jumps in - not so in hockey!

Man , I just knew Ice Hockey is a great game for players and fans. That 3rd man thing is a stroke of genius, maintains the drama of a good fight but with a veneer of civilised behaviour

Speaking of sporting scraps, anyone remember the Kevin Tamati / Greg Dowling rugby league dust up, they had both been sent off for brawling but it must have been real personal because they carried it on at the sideline. Tut tut, disgraceful behaviour chaps but if we are being honest most of us loved it, gladitorial stuff

Way of subject topic but after reading the "gentlemanliness" of fighting in hockey reminds me of the following clip where Georges Laraque wishes his opponent "good luck" before they drop the gloves, it can be heard in the replay at the 0:50 mark. Classic.
