    What's your favourite Movie?

Interested to know what your favourite movie(s) are?

Mine are Pulp Fiction, Usual Suspects, The Good The Bad & the Ugly, Dark City, Avatar, Delicatessen, Children of Men, Fight Club, Terminator 2, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Life of Brian, Saving Private Ryan, Scarface, Trainspotting, The Shawshank Redemption.

No particular order and reasonably diverse.

What movies are on your list?

Possibly more diverse and again in no particular order, difficult to keep the list short!
    Gone With The Wind
    Usual Suspects
    The Long Good Friday
The original Italian Job though I hate the ending
    Muriel's Wedding
    Enter the Dragon
Nearly all the James Bond movies
    The Great Escape
    Police Story (Jackie Chan)
Ocean's Eleven (George Clooney, Brad Pitt et al - never too much eye candy for a girl!)
    Hero (Jet Li)
    House of Flying Daggers
    Local Hero

I'm sure there'll be others, will have a think....!

I only keep track of the comedies, and those to the classics. My all time favorites:

    1) Whats Up Doc (1972) - Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neal
    2) The Party - (1968) Peter sellers
    3) Its a Mad Mad World (1963) Mickey Rooney
    4) Mister Roberts (1955) Henry Fonda, James Cagney and Jack Lemon
    5) Tootsie (1982) Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lang
    6) Midnight Run (1988) Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin

Just a couple off the top of my head before I head off to the pub . . .

The Godfather 1 & 2. I just pretend the third movie was never made.
Apocalypse Now. Francis Ford Copolla made some damn fine movies back in the day.
Eat, Drink, Man, Woman. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
Bad News Bears. The original with Walter Matthau. Who doesn't love an underdog movie?
Cool Hand Luke. They don't make movie stars like Paul Newman anymore.
To Kill a Mocking Bird. What I said about Paul Newman . . . Applies to Gregory Peck too. You know who played Boo Radley? Might surprise you that it was an Oscar winner.
GATTACA. Terribly underrated. Thought-provoking. Very stylish.

    In not any particular order,
There's a Girl in My Soup
    Shawshank Redemption
    The Mission
Over the Hedge ( probably the most funniest animated film I have seen)
    I Love Hong Kong
    Goodbye Lenin
    Sommer Auf Balkon
My Father's Glory and My Mother's Castle
    L'apartment Espagnole

Getting bored with the usual US churned out crap.
