Is anyone interested in photography here? Are there any good places where I can get some good pictures at besides The Peak and the Victoria Harbor?

Try the Hong Kong Photography Club- there are a few Geoexpat members there. Their picture site is here.

Good Pictures of what???? You can get good pictures anywhere, its just the subject matter that's different.

If you're talking about landscapes: Kowloon Walled City Park, Lantau Island (Monastary, Buddah, Wisdom Path, and much more), Lamma Island, Temples, National Parks on the Kowloon Side, Beaches (on various islands), Stanley, Tai Tam, etc, etc, etc..............

As climber07 says, there are plenty of places to photograph in Hong Kong, it just depends what you're interested in.

Hong Kong is a great place for street photography, for example, so if that's what you're interested in then just get out into the streets. If you're interested in nature photography go to a country park. If achitecture is your thing then just look up. If you're interested in social documentary then go meet some people etc. etc.

Here are a few galleries that came up when selectiing Hong Kong on Pbase to give you some ideas.

Thanks for the replies people. Yeah, I guess I should've been more specific, and I apologize for being vague. I'll look into those links, and hopefully be able to find a few good sites where I can get some good shots.

Those are some great photos dippers, I like the one with the Chinese chess players.
