Filing tax return?

Hello,

Can anyone please tell me how and when exactly should I file my tax return? My HR has sent me the income tax statement more than 6-7 weeks ago, but I am still waiting to receive any forms/instructions from Inland Revenue Department. The thing is I don't want to get fined for not filing on time. Can anyone please give me some suggestions or tell me what's the income tax procedure like here in HK. Thanks!

You have a month from when they send it to you. But to be safe you should probably call the tax office to check whether they think they have sent a form, and, if so, to where. Always better to be proactive in this situation than to wait for them to think that you are delaying filing.
