    Interesting emails from "PAYPAL"

Hi... put some furniture up for sale on various sites, including Geoexpats and got a very enthusiastic response from a "prospective buyer"; this guy bought the lot and has deposited (apparently) the cost of the furniture PLUS the cost of shipping in my PAYPAL account. All I have to do now is get in touch with WESTERN UNION and send the "excess sum of HK$3,000 to xxx" to cover transport.... or so the email informs me!

Googling "scams and Paypal" yields interesting results.

    Anyone had similar experiences...?

Hmm. Furniture. Hong Kong. I'd have thought "cash when you come and pick it up with your van" was by far the safest method!
