    those signs that remind you that your exceeding what road designers consider a safe speed are really good.

    Pity they have not been adopted in HK.

    Many A time travelling through a tunnel or driving on a road it seems safe and you suddenly notice you're doing 100 or whatever.

    the studies report that most people drive naturally at a safe speed for the road.

    in fact thats how they set some of the limits...

    maybe now its b'cos everyones got so many gadgets to look at - rather than using eyes , ears and common sense..

    If I'm looking at that sign I am distracted - is that safe? maybe I should have been looking out for the kid who was obviously quite entertained ( as was I!!!) by the sign

    Is that urban myth true? the one about one person a year in HK is killed by fallign concrete? ( random building crumble syndrome? )

    of course if the OP had been on a motorbike he might not have got caught?

    The induction sensors in the road are one per lane - so if u go thru on 2 wheels tearing along the white lines you wont set off the camera will you?

    On the basis that you are not passing directly over the induction loops.

    ( havent tried this one myself yet... )
