    Question Pregnancy scans in HK

    Hi all,
I live in London and will be travelling in Hong Kong exactly when i am 12-13 weeks pregnant. So i need to arrange my nuchal fold scan and blood tests while i am in HK.

I am looking for a recommendation for a clinic or hospital where i can do these tests. I'd appreciate if you send me any contacts and your impressions - how good or not they were, etc.

    thanks a lot
    m

    Congratulations!!

Search GeoBaby.Com for nuchal. You'll find a number of recommendations.

I highly recommend Dr. Ghosh for anything ultrasound related.

    Public Option

You can also get your pregnancy registered at your local Maternal and Child Health Clinic, which will refer you to your local hospital for all your ante-natal visits and scans, which are free of charge to legal residents.

although this thread is now 3 years out of date, just wanted to clarify: scans are NOT free through the public system. they are between $60-100. (when i delivered my two, the scans were $60, but they may have gone up since then.)

and the nuchal fold scans, even with the public hospitals, are closer to $1000, unless you are over 35.

keep in mind these public offerings are ONLY available to HKID card holders.
