I've seen the term used by other academics.
Anyway, I love Top Ramen masala and curry smoodles. Don't like Maggi very much at all.

Smoodles??
I also used to like Nissin Curry Cup noodles - more like the Japanese style curry flavour though, quite mild and slightly sweet.

I've never understood the attraction of noodles. You might as well eat cardboard for all the taste and nutrition you are getting.
How come noones mentioned samosas as a food that reminds them of India??
Staple starter in most Indian restaurants in England.
And you totally missed my point! I don't see the connection with Indian food.
As per Maggi noodles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Maggi is popular in a large number of countries, not just India. I doubt the average Indian identifies strongly with the brand, it probably brings back memories for a group that grew up in the 90's.
As an aside, I wonder how the Pizza flavoured noodles taste![]()
