    Any Sydenhamites out there?

Its amazing how many threads there are here with people looking for a specific type of human bean based on age, gender, nationality, dietary habits, etc, etc; which got me wondering about Sydenhamites?

Surely I am not the only geopat who is one?

There is no responsiblity or duties required of you, once you have outed yourself.

We dont even have to meet or be civil to one another on this forum.

    I just want to know?

    OK?

btw I am not referring to people from the London suburb or offspring of Dr Thomas

Looks like you may have to make do with those from SE26.

Nice to hear from you Neha-I wonder what led you to this site?

I fainted in 77 so thankfully missed KIA's stint as a denizen of 'A' Road.

Lets expand this thread to include inmates of H.R. and Jai Hind and see what/who turns up

Ha ha. Sydenham, London SE26. What a wonderful place! I remember those damn ugly gasworks. Bellingham, Catford Dogs, Penge etc just down the road. Now I know why I don't want to go back to the UK!

Mind you I grew up in Beckenham and I don't think I could afford afford to buy property there now so going back is not really an option.

Hey I went to school in Penge! Fond memories but probably skewed over time.

Hey Discobay you didn't go to Langley Park secondary school did you?

I lived on the Beckenham/Penge border. Definitely best seen by moonlight. I guess the market is still going strong but apart from the occasional visits to Crystal Palace Park if I am back in the UK I rarely go to Penge although my parents still live in Beckenham.

I spent a good few years in sunny Croydon as well but I prefer to keep quiet about that one. Don't think I could leave Asia now, though.

    All the best

Actually I went to Langley Park when it was still a grammar school (he says with his nose pointing skyward). What a small world!
