    It's so sad. To have lived 85 years and think that is your only option  Jumping is also an incredibly selfish way to go about it because there is a very good chance that you could take others with you when you landed, especially in Hong Kong and especially during the day or evenings.

    It seems selfish to us but who knows how people who commit an act like that actually think.

    In this this case I don't think the body made it to the ground. It looked when I went by later that it landed on the covering canopy (plexi-grass? that got broken) and the workers were up there taking that broken section out.

    Maybe the people who do this are wired differently than others of us who cannot fathom how anyone could do this to themselves or be so selfish to hurt their families so much.

    There must be many reasons and none more confusing than for the youth that do that and some of them seem to have so much going for them - when you look at their family circumstances. I am thinking of examples from back home though in what seem like good homes and economic circumstances.
