    Joining The Club

We've just published an article called Joining The Club

In Hong Kong it's hard to be somebody if you aren't a member of a private membership club, and with so many clubs to choose from that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Below are a wide variety of clubs and a few methods for making that exclusive membership fee a little more affordable; take the steps toward claiming your rightful place amongst the somebodies of Hong Kong...

How would you prefer to get your club membership? What are the benefits of being a private club member in Hong Kong, besides the obvious use of facilities?

Any reason AMC was not included? Its one of the top/premier clubs in the city with huge facilities for the kiddies... The Aberdeen Marina Club

    Other notable ones missing :
KCC : :::: The Kowloon Cricket Club ::::
United Services : | united services recreation club |
    CCC : www.ccc1894.com
HebeHaven : HEBE HAVEN YACHT CLUB
Country Club, a few golf clubs, Dynasty and Butterfields.

This post sounds like an advertising post, and as such have reported it.

I have also PM'd the OP, I mean, calling yourself Editor, what is that about?

Why not offer up some info on those clubs?

I can't see any reason the AMC was not included, but the ABC is, and some might say its the better option. Hebe Haven is great but the last I heard the wait list was five years plus. If you've heard otherwise definitely let us know.

KCC and CCC are both great options. There are a world of clubs that weren't included. If you have info on them do share!

i agree - that is screwed up to say and just shows how pompous HK has really become. Or maybe I should say the initiator of this thread deserves to be slapped around by the majority of HK's citizens who aren't members of a private club. Shame on you Editor

i, too, stopped reading at that point. what an arrogant, pompous self-importance.... if you need a club to feel like "somebody", you are pretty sad indeed.
