Lightbulb Need a good PR agency in HK... Ideas?

Hello... an associate owns a small but growing business in Hong Kong. He's looking for a PR agency to help establish the brand.

Does anyone know of an upstart PR firm who handles new business ventures?

    Thanks!

    What area?

Know a couple of former PR agency folks who've left the agencies and work on their own on projects.

Their office is in Central, so that area and beyond.

Do let me know and I'll pass the word. Especially if those former PR agency folks who work on their own are ambitious and talented!

Er, I think KIA meant what area of business!

Some PR companies specialise in Tech, some in FMCG, some in B2B, etc...

...right, naturally. They're in the services arena. B2B is the focus in terms of future growth but also B2C. Let me know thank you.

    Try these guys ...

    http://www.annafangpr.com

Get multiple agencies to pitch ... you'll then realize that most of them have the same old ideas, hopefully you find one that is innovative.

You need to have some idea of budget before you start as well. The lowest you'll get an international name (like Ogilvy, Edelman, etc) on a monthly retainer is about HK$40,000, and that's just to stay up to date with your business and maybe do a minimal number of simple press releases etc.

Individuals obviously would come somewhat cheaper, but you're obviously then totally dependent on their contacts matching your requirements since they don't bring the brand "clout" of someone like Edelman.

Try the guys at Upstream too ..

My contacts are in FMCG / F&B ... will ask around to see if there are any cunning freelancers out there. Thats usually where you'd get the best bang for the buck.

...Fantastic, much appreciation. If you locate any of those cunning freelancers send me their details. My associates would be highly greatful and they like sending "thank you" gifts.
