I've been away from Hong Kong for a couple of years doing other things but have this week come back to live in this awesome city once again.
Walking around I'm trying to work out what, if anything has changed in that time. So far it's not a long list:
- There are fewer frozen yoghurt sellers than before.
- Lan Kwai Fong is mostly closed.
- There is now a Gap on Queen's Rd and an Apple store in the IFC.
- The old ladies with the pre-programmed megaphones have gone from outside Citibank.
- A squatter camp appears to have sprung up under the HSBC tower.
- The Star ferry no longer appears to go to Hung Hom.
- Cabs up to $20 and trams up to $2.30.
And, er, that's it!
Well, that can't be it obviously. Please let me know what I've missed so I can look less like a tourist when I'm talking to my friends.
