Red face Looking for Expat Cooks for TV show

I don't think it really qualifies as a classified ad, so I put it in this forum...

A friend of mine is working on a cooking show for cable TV in HK which features home cooked cuisine from around the world.

They are looking for foreign women from various countries to feature on the show (you cook a homemade dish while they film).

They can only pay a bit for your trouble, but it is a chance to cook and be on TV and (hopefully) have fun.

If you're interested please send me a private message, or reply to this thread and I'll message you to get your contact info.

    Thanks!

A bit sexist don't you think?
Some of us men cook as well , although I suppose that there is enough of them on the telly as it is !

    yes, they're definitely limiting themselves...

Is this a chance to play Gordon Ramsay? That would be fantastic fun, however I expect they'd want someone a bit more Heston Blumenthal. I can just imagine a Gordon Ramsay show over here: <beep> <beep> <beep> fish <beep> <beep> <beep> head <beep> etc...

FYI - I saw an expat show on Pearl that kept talking about " meeting the chef Mr Ramsey " . Turned out to be a fat Asian guy who cooked noodle dishes.

I could hear the lawyers scrambling for the phones !!

    >> Julia Child

I'd have thought Nigella Lawson - heard her shows being described as soft porn for foodies... (on Have I got news for you.. or some such brit comedy chat show)
