    Keeping visiting mother occupied

My sixty-something year old mother is visiting for a few weeks and I need to find ways to keep her occupied while I'm busy at work. She has been to HK several times, so sightseeing is out. Any ideas? Are there any gyms or swimming pools that offer short-term memberships?

The YWCA has great classes, walks, cultural activities, lectures etc many of which are attended by older ladies, so your mum will fit right in....!
They also have sports and fitness activities, as well as hikes.

Ok, you need to get her on a two/three/four day trip into China. There are tour companies that do this and she would love it - plenty of 50/60/70+ people on them and it is for days! A bit of google-work should help you find the right one.
    Good Luck!

The American Women's Assn organize coffee mornings at the Marriott Hotel Lobby Lounge every Thurs. You don't have to be a member to attend. It's a great place to meet other women in HK. It's followed by a lunch. The women are anywhere from 20-60 years old.
