    Again, great suggestion, looked into it, but they can't take enough people for a decent sized wedding reception (seated) I think they only take 70 - so if people decide not to make the trip and my list shrinks, could be a good option.

    That's all right. Clubs know that members book for friends. Obviously you'll need to settle a/c with the friend, as all charges will go onto their bill. That's how we do kids birthdays.

    Actually a friend had an awesome suggestion that ticks all the boxes - One Thirtyone - in case anyone was interested.

    Will be calling them tomorrow to reserve!

    They also allow outside caterers.
