Has anyone else noticed when the current shown temperature is way out of the given range for the day...
    Case in point...attachment.

Is your point that they got the forecast wrong, or that there is something wrong with the app?

I think GNR is referring to the way the forecast says 15-20 - when it's apparently now 12!

The temperature range is for the HKO in Kowloon. I guess you are somewhere else, where it is 12.2C.

based on the readings shown around HK, the range seems ok.

second Claire's point - with the app 12.2 is based on your location, for the prediction, take away 2 deg C for NT areas

Before the OP hang the HKO out to dry, remember the HKO these days are far more reliable in their prediction. Growing up, my local in-laws would say the HKO was famous for being anything but reliable. When they forecast a sunny day, it would often rain and vice versa. In fact, the HKO became a butt of jokes for it's wrong forecasts. The last 10-20 years have been a completely different story. As supercomputers and other new equipment has drastically improved the accuracy of weather forecast.
